The owners Bronwyn and David Mitchell both grew up on sheep/cattle properties and have many years of animal and husbandry experience. Bronwyn’s previous role as nurse/midwife/educator has been an excellent background for her present role of hands on work at the farm. She also manages our four star B&B accommodation.
David has a wealth of rural experience that is invaluable in the growth and maintenance of our business. He has been in education for most of his working life but is now involved full time assisting in the management of the farm.
David is a SRS® Breeding Advisor committed to assisting breeders accelerate their breeding programmes by selection, classing and skin testing of animals.
David and Bronwyn have presented at SRSAI conferences, at workshops and lecture Rural Science students at the University of New England. They also run special days for interest groups including school students involved in agriculture or design plus talks and tours for interest groups.
