Glenhope is situated on 60 hectares of land, 4 kms from Armidale in Northern NSW, Australia. With a combination of native and improved pastures, mild summers and cool winters the conditions are perfect for breeding alpacas. On our property we use sustainable farming practices and each year we fatten about 40 angus weaners for market.
Over the years we have traveled extensively looking at animals and keeping up to date with cutting edge breeding technologies.
David together with Dr Jim Watts has taught and assisted breeders in Australia and other countries become involved in using the SRS® breeding system designed by Jim following many years of research at the C.S.I.R.O. Workshops have been held in Germany, Northern and Southern Germany, Italy and the United kingdom.
We have now retired from breeding but have thoroughly enjoyed our years in the industry
